Our client in the automotive sector, based in Gqeberha, seeks to employ a Material, Planning and Logistics Manager to join their operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties:

Storing right amount of materials, goods and products in the right locations to feed the company's operational and customer demands.
Integrating individual customer logistics requirements with the warehouse management system.
Receiving, analysing and inputting weekly customer releases into the system.
Ensure that the right resources are available internally and when required to meet customer volume demands.
Be the point of contact for customers regarding any logistics topic and any deviations to delivery schedule.
Managing and development of entire MPL team.
Responsible for innovation and cost reduction projects within the department.
Implementation and management of EHS requirements.

Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Logistics/Purchasing
At least 10 years' working experience at Senior Management level in Tier 1 OEM supplier environment
Experience with imports/exports of automotive components
Detailed understanding of OEM Logistics requirements and procedures
