Mechanic II: Saudi Arabia, Al Amar

SUMMARY:
A mining industry is urgently looking to appoint a Mechanic II in their Company in Saudi Arabia in the middle East.

POSITION INFO:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for to diagnosing and maintain Crushing and Mill Plant Equipment according to technical specification and sound engineering practise.

Desired Experience and qualifications:

• Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience as a qualified artisan
• 5 years as an Industrial Plant Artisan
• English Language Proficiency is Essential
• Time management skills

Technical Competencies / Professional Expertise

• Driver’s License
• Formal Technical College Certificate Heavy Industrial Plant Maintenance.
• Valid Trade test certificate required.
• METSO Cone Crusher (Must be able to maintain, Fault Find and repair HP 100 & HP 200 Cone Crusher
• Jaw Crusher maintenance, Fault Finding and repairs
• Air Compressors (Atlas Copco) maintenance, Fault Finding and repairs
• Conveyor Belt Systems maintenance, Fault Finding and repairs
• Pumps, (Slurry and Water) maintenance, Fault Finding and repairs
• HDPE Pipe Installation and maintenance
• Hydraulic Systems maintenance, Fault Finding and repairs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Investigate, diagnose, and perform trade related maintenance and repair of Crushing and Mill Plant Equipment according to the maintenance requirements, standards and specifications.
• Perform daily inspections in accordance with the SWI, adhering to operational and company standards in reporting all defects and breakdowns on equipment and machinery to the Supervisor.
• Ensure that all equipment is safe and in good working order after task completion.
• Continuously monitor equipment failure and efficiency to improve trade specific equipment and systems.
• Consult with production teams on maintenance activities that effects equipment use.
• Supports the achievement of engineering availability and production performance levels.
• Ensure that maintenance related information is recorded and reported to the relevant planning office to support the maintenance of the planned/asset maintenance system.
• Ensure and approve all funeral documents adhere to standards and quality.
• Handle client queries regarding existing policies, funeral services, and other enquiries.
• Planning, making follow ups on both internal and external clients.
• Comply with company code of conduct.
• Ensure adherence to engineering quality standards in maintenance of Crushing and Mill Plant Equipment
• People Management and Training
• Participate in cost saving initiatives and adhere to financial procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors, Users, and co-workers to inform on work in progress and condition of machinery/equipment.
