SUMMARY:
Our client manufactures, markets and sells branded and private label tissue products into the consumer and away from home markets in South Africa and neighboring countries. It produces these products in its factories in Kempton Park

Our client actively seeking the services of an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Qualifications of a B Eng / BSc Eng Degree with GCC or working towards GCC
Minimum 5 years experience as a Mechanical / Maintenance / Plant Engineer within the manufacturing or FMCG environment, pulp and paper manufacturing experience will be advantage.

Preferred Skills
Experience with high speed rotating machinery, fluid mechanics & Fluid power systems, pressure vessels and equipment, compressors, combustion, conveyors, mechanical drive gear, roll & tackle management, lifting machinery, water treatment and boilers.
Understanding of
SANS, OSHA and ISO
Working knowledge of Scada & DCS and associated control & automation hardware would be advantageous.
Experience in asset management advantageous
Experience in root cause analysis techniques
Prior experience in mechanical and multi disciplinary engineering projects required.
Ability to review and provide input on Engineering documentation and drawings and developing internal standards would be highly advantageous.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Attend FATS and lead/coordinate SAT for new equipment and projects
