SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with proven experience in defense vehicle design. The successful candidate will join a dynamic engineering team working on innovative projects within the defense sector.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to the design and development of advanced defense vehicles.
Produce detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
Apply engineering principles in structural design, ergonomics, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.
Conduct design reviews, simulations, and prototype evaluations to optimize product performance.
Provide technical input across the product development lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements:

BEng in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical design, with a strong focus on defense vehicle systems.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Inventor, or similar).
Strong knowledge of structural analysis, armor systems, suspension design, and integration of mechanical subsystems.
Understanding of defense standards and military-grade specifications.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

Experience with prototyping, testing, and validation of defense vehicles.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a high-paced, confidential environment.
Innovative mindset with attention to detail.
