SUMMARY:
Here is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join a top 500 international company. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about Designing cost effective and high-quality products to be used for manufacturing purposes.

POSITION INFO:

You will be responsible for preparing and maintaining bills of material and their 3D assemblies

Required to create 3D parts and 2D part drawings according to supplier and regulatory requirements

You will be required to liaise with international suppliers and customers on designs

Responsible for providing creative and technically feasible engineering solutions

Responsible for product data management

Responsible for cost effective and innovative Mechanical component Design

Conducting concept and design reviews

Skills & Experience:

Must come from a Mechanical design background

Excellent in task management

Ability to work under pressure

Excellent communication skills (Written and verbal)

Must be willing to travel overseas

Highly proficient in 3D CAD software

Experience with Siemens NX will be advantageous

Minimum of 3 to 6 years’ experience in a Mechanical Design role

Qualification:

BEng / BTech Mechanical Engineering

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
