SUMMARY:

A great company is looking for a Design Engineer that will be part of the whole process from design to manufacturing of machines, processes and all products that is manufactured by the company itself. POSITION INFO:

Technical designs and drawings

Improve & Development of existing processes

Design new machines by means of CAD modelling

Be part of manufacturing process from A-Z

Be involved with the testing phase

Calculations

Assist and support project engineer with modification, machines designs etc.

Research and development of components

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5+ years’ Experience in a Manufacturing environment (Compulsory)

Experience with pumps, motors, bearings, heat treatment and steel design (Essential)

Minimum 4+ years Mechanical Design Experience (Compulsory)

Machine Design Experience (Advantageous)

Proficient in CAD

Solid Edge or NX Experience (Advantageous)

Problem Solving skills

Good communication skills

Qualification:

B-Tech/BEng in Mechanical Engineering (Compulsory)

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
