Their expertise spans palletising equipment, robotic welding, conveyors, pick & place systems, and other custom robotic applications.

About the Role
The company is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join its dynamic team. This individual will be engaged throughout the product development lifecycle — from initial research and conceptual design to manufacturing and documentation. The ideal candidate should have a solid engineering background, proven experience in mechanical design, and proficiency in SolidWorks.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 6 years of experience in mechanical part and equipment design (specifically conveyors)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modelling and design)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities
3D Design & Technical Documentation
- Create detailed part models, assemblies, and technical drawings using SolidWorks
- Produce high-quality renderings and assembly instructions following internal standards
Conceptual & Engineering Development
- Develop innovative mechanical system concepts
- Work with senior designers to finalise concepts into production-ready designs
Manufacturing & Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure manufacturing accuracy
- Maintain and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) within the ERP system
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards
Technical Writing & Documentation
- Prepare manuals, spare parts lists, and other technical documentation
Team Collaboration & Troubleshooting
- Work closely with project managers and fellow engineers to create effective solutions
- Identify design flaws and propose practical improvements
