JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the steel industry is seeking an Mechanical Designer for their company in Sandton

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Mechanical Designer
Location: Sandton, Gauteng
Salary Range: R 22 000.00 – R 30 000.00 CTC pm

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Consult with clients to determine requirements for designs
Prioritise sub ordinates workload
Review and approve designs and manufacturing drawings
Conceptualise, research and develop new products for clients
Assist in the fabrication of prototypes and sample units
Industrialise products for mass production
Present designs and demonstrate prototypes to clients for approval
Able to implement and maintain quality standards

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma / Degree Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience in sheet metal manufacturing environment
AutoCAD or Solid Edge experience
