Mechanical Draughtsman with CNC Experience (Atlantis, Cape Town) R18,000 – R20,000 PM

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Urgently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman (CNC Sheet Metal - Manufacturing) The Draughtsman’s is responsible for the mechanical designing and draughting of miniature substations, transformers to SANS780 specs from 16kVA to 3150kVA, medium voltage switching kiosks, bulk metering kiosks and low voltage distribution panels.

A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman is required.

Required:

- Matric

- National Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- MS Office, 3D Modelling, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, SolidWorks

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman

- CNC programming experience

- Driver’s license and car

- Strong Communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

- Fluent in Afrikaans and English

- Strong planning, organizing and coordinating skills

- Able to “think on your feet”

- Able to multi-task

- Deadline driven and thrive under pressure

- Reside in close proximity
