Mechanical Engineer

SUMMARY:
The Junior Engineer will support our Engineering & Sales team in delivering advanced water and pumping solutions across the EMEA region. Ideal for a recently qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer, this role combines office-based design and quoting work with hands-on involvement in international site installations and commissioning. The position offers valuable career development in engineering design, field execution, and client support in a growing company with a strong presence across Africa and expanding projects in Europe and the Middle East.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Assist with the design of pump stations, control systems, and water infrastructure layouts.
• Prepare technical drawings, system schematics, and BOMs.
• Contribute to equipment sizing, pricing, and proposal generation.
• Work closely with the engineering and sales teams to develop custom solutions.
• Diploma or Degree essential. Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical, Engineering.
• Afrikaans and English as a first language.
• Support Senior Engineers during system planning, technical documentation, and project execution.
• Participate in internal QA/QC processes, SOP creation, and installation documentation.
• Contribute to equipment sizing, pricing, and proposal generation.
• Assist with configuration and readiness for on-site delivery.
• 0–3 years of experience in technical, project, or site engineering roles.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) is a strong advantage.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally (within EMEA).
• Valid passport and driver’s license.
• Excellent communication and team orientation skills .
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to gain hands-on experience.
• Exposure to international engineering projects in the water infrastructure sector.
• Hands-on field experience with mentorship from experienced Engineers.
• A structured growth path into design, project management, or commissioning roles.
