REQUIREMENTS

Qualified Mechanical Engineer

Min 2 – 3 years experience in production

Good financial acumen with maths and costing expertise

Dedicated with eagerness to learn and continually improve knowledge and skills

Creative with ability to see the bigger picture

Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English essential

Hands on and a good team player

Creative thinker

Must be able to travel for work purposes

DUTIES

Daily involvement in production and plant maintenance

Working alongside a Director ensuring production is running smoothly

Costing of materials and products

Involvement with budgets and costing

Problem solving in all areas of the factory and machinery

Managing staff, supervising and training where required

Ensuring production is running on time

Inspecting and maintaining the performance of all mechanical equipment

Processing of materials

Manage the control and automation of manufacturing systems

Involved all round with all operations

Attend management meetings

Salary: R30 - 45k  dependent on experience
