Mechanical Engineer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry has an opportunity available for a Mechanical Engineer in the Mpumalanga area. This will be a temporary position.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Must have a B.Eng (Mechanical) or BSc (Mechanical)
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Must have project experience 
• Knowledge of OSH Act, PER, SANS 347, ASME, API, etc.
• Previous shutdown experience

• Providing mechanical engineering support during the engineering phase
• Responding to Technical Queries (TQ’s) from Engineering Contractors (EC’s)
• Providing Engineering input into Pre-fabrication meetings
• Engineering support during construction activities
• Driving Equipment repairs during shutdown (when and if required)
