JOB SUMMARY:
Mechanical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This professional company is looking for a motivated person with great communication and interpersonal skills. Needs to be able to work independently and within a team and must be able to work very well under pressure and still produce quality work. This position needs a person willing to work reasonable extended hours when required to achieve project deadlines. Must be able and willing to travel to project sites nationally.

Requirements:

Must have knowledge in HVAC, Wet Services, Medical Gas, Lift & Fire designs.
An advantage would be to have extensive experience in Fire design and ASIB accreditation
Mining experience will be advantageous

Education & Experience:

Grade 12
BSc Mechanical Engineering
Must have Professional registration with ECSA
Ability to integrate mechanical design elements with other engineering & Architectural Disciplines
Functional knowledge of BIM software, in particular Revit MEP
Strong working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD & thermal modelling software e.g. Carrier HAP &/or Designbuilder
