Mechanical Engineer: Building Services

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in HVAC and fire systems to join their dynamic team.

POSITION INFO:
As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the installation and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a variety of projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our solutions meet client requirements, building codes, and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC & fire systems for new and existing buildings using industry software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, and HAP).
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and documentation.
• Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to support design and troubleshooting efforts.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, and other Engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HVAC design and project execution.
• Proficient in HVAC design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and HAP).
• Strong understanding of building services, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or working toward licensure is a plus.
