SUMMARY:
Product Manufacturer is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for the Manufacturability and optimisation of product manufacturing. B.Eng. Mechanical and skills in Manufacturing, Configuration, understanding of manufacturing process.

POSITION INFO:
Mechanical Engineer (Industrialisation Engineer)

Randburg

Product design for Automotive- Military Vehicles, Trackless Mining -, Industrial Mining equipment and Railway Industry Equipment. The products/ parts that are designed are manufactured locally and distributed to other parts of the world.

The Engineer we require will be working between the design and manufacturing team. Will ensure that products that were designed are manufacturable, processes are followed correctly to manufacture products/ components and assist with ERP.

Qualification :
B.Eng (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering)

Experienced required:

Minimum of 2 years design experience
3-5 years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to interpret specifications, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
Knowledge of Manufacturing and project management/project engineering

Responsibilities:

Liaise with production planning department
Manage/ update configuration and ERP system
Manage component and assembly drawings for proto-typing
Working closely with Mechanical and Electronic engineers to ensure manufacturability/ Industrialisation of Products
