Mechanical Engineer - Mining

SUMMARY:
Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer ready for your next career move? Our client within the mining industry is looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineer with project experience to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Execute relevant engineering and technical activities on the project in accordance with the company’s approach to project frameworks, processes and methodologies and engineering standards and specifications

Participate and advise on project scope definition to ensure that clear deliverables, exclusions and standards are included for the mechanical engineering discipline

Evaluate all project deliverables for compliance with the company’s standards and specifications as well as all applicable codes, engineering practices and legislation/regulations

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years plus of large capital project exposure ideally in various project phases, including detail design

EPCM experience

Construction site experience

Qualification:

BSc/BEng/BTech – Mechanical Engineering

Knowledge of PMBOK

Pr.Eng ECSA Registered - Beneficial

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
