A well-established military company based in Centurion is seeking to employ a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Geographical area: Centurion

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Member of various DFMAS lead teams for products under development
Define requirements and scope of DFMAS tasks and ensure on time execution by all team members
Assist development teams with mechanical design work
Facilitate DFMAS reviews and ensure compliance to mandatory review date requirements
Facilitate Production Baseline Changes and maintain accordingly (collaborate with DR&T and Operations role players
Define, establish and apply DFMA design principles and techniques and roll out to Product design engineers

Minimum qualifications and experience:

BEng. Mechanical qualification;
DFMA short course will be an advantage
8-10 years of working experience
