SUMMARY:
Our client in the Engineering Industry, has an opportunity available for a Mechanical Engineer/Technologist to be based in the Cape Town area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

BEng or BScEng (Elec) with minimum 4 years’ experience, or
BTech Elec Eng with minimum 6 years’ experience after National Diploma
Registration with ECSA as Pr Eng or Pr Tech, or eligible for professional registration
Computer Skills: AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Microsoft Office
Operate independently in terms of project management and design
Code B drivers’ licence with own reliable transport

KPAs:

Prepare designs and drawings, tender specifications, bills of quantities
Attend project/site meetings and inspections
Prepare cost estimates and cost reports
Building services incorporating energy efficiency into the designs (including electronic services)
