POSITION INFO:
Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman – OEM Mineral Processing Equipment – Benoni
OEM Supplier and Designer of Mineral Processing Equipment and solutions requires a Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman specialising in mechanical equipment design.
Job purpose:

Modelling and assemblies and detail drawings of OEM equipment
Checking of drawings done by other draughtsmen
Site measurements of equipment, chutework and structures

Minimum requirements:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in mechanical equipment design
High proficiency in machine design
Advantageous : Experience with rotating equipment, crushers, vibrating and other dynamic equipment, pressure vessels, clarifiers, thickeners, mining equipment and earthmoving equipment
Integral networking of: drives, shafts, gears, bearings, plumber blocks, contact rollers
Advantageous : Experience in sealing systems
Site experience in measuring equipment and troubleshooting for the purpose of designing fit-for-purpose solutions
Strong references mandatory

Salary offer: R30K – R50K dependant on experience
