POSITION INFO:

Our Client, a recognised global leader in Maritime Fleet acquisition is URGENTLY seeking to appoint a Mechanical Engineering Maintenance Operations Manager to provide a strategic and operational management of the Operations Division ensuring service of its Commercial Shipping Fleet through effective and efficient maintenance and repairs .

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Manage Operations by providing the strategic direction.

Manage the Operations budget, personnel and other resources.

Maintaining client and inter-divisional relations.

Ensure compliance to corporate governance.

Ensure on time delivery of services (in terms of quality, cost & time).

Provide inputs as member of the Management Committee.

Attend Project-related meetings.

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent

Qualification in management

Extensive experience (7-10 years) in mechanical engineering maintenance management

Experience in the development and management of a business plan

Strategic management and leadership skills

Good interpersonal, communication, planning and organising skills

Quality orientated with good problem solving and analytical abilities

Computer literate.
