POSITION INFO:

Mechanical Fire Engineer (Building Services)

award winning consulting engineers with a professional Track record. This company provides innovative services in the HVAC, Fire, Energy efficiency and wet services

Fire engineer required to join the team of Mechanical Engineers in the Building Services Contract.

Qualification requirements:

BSc/BEng (Mechanical)
Registered with ECSA as a Candidate Engineer (Optional)
Minimum of of 3 Years experience in the Consulting field

Responsibilities:

Fire risk analysis
Detail design of fire systems and to ensure that the design complies with regulations, codes of practice, statutory requirements .
Active and passive fire protection systems
Apply engineering calculations for automatic sprinklers, smoke detection, evacuations systems, smoke ventilation, hydraulic design, gas suppression and other engineering tasks that may be required
Plan, design organize and control complete projects
Prepare and present technical reports, financial reports, tender documentation etc
