Mechanical Maintenance Manager

SUMMARY:
A market leading company has a position for a Mechanical Manager. Are you technically strong when it comes to pneumatics, hydraulics and Management with a Diploma in Engineering, then this is the perfect opportunity for you

POSITION INFO:

Improve and develop the maintenance strategy

Manage preventative maintenance

Ensure that the equipment safety is maintained

Lead and provide guidance to technical team to achieve goals

Maintenance costs manage to budgets (Opex)

Plans and manage capital expenses (Capex)

Ensure machinery regulations is in place

Manage engineering stores and ensure correct levels of critical spares

Liaise with internal customers and suppliers regarding technical issues

Train the technical team and identify where they need to be upskilled

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5+ Years Management experience is a (Compulsory)

Management skills

Great team player

Good Technical skills when it comes to Mechanical Industry

Willing to work over the weekends (will get two days off a week)

Qualification:

National Diploma/BTech in Mechanical Engineering

Trade Test (Fitter and Turner/Millwright/Electrician) – (Advantageous with your Mechanical Diploma or degree)

Management Diploma – (Advantageous)

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
