POSITION INFO:

Develop and improve maintenance strategy to ensure implementation

Manage preventative maintenance program as per International Maintenance Best Practices

Ensure equipment safety and integrity is maintained

Ensure legal compliance is achieved in terms of machinery regulations

Lead and provide guidance to technical team to achieve goals

Maintenance costs manage to budgets (Opex)

Plans and manage capital expenses (Capex) and lead projects

Manage engineering stores and ensure correct levels of critical spares

Liaise with internal customers and suppliers regarding technical issues

Identifies and address critical training needs for technical team

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5+ Years of Management experience (Crucial)

Management skills

Great team leading skills

Great technical skills when it comes to Mechanical Engineering

Qualification:

National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Trade Test (Fitter and Turner/Millwright/Electrician) – Advantageous with your Mechanical Diploma or degree

Management Diploma – Advantageous

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
