POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical R&D Engineer to engage in the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and components. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects, from concept through to prototype and production, and requires a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems and components. Create detailed 3D models, simulations, and prototypes to test and validate design concepts.
- Research and Innovation: Conduct research to explore new technologies and materials that can enhance product performance and reliability. Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate new techniques into design processes.
- Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to evaluate the performance and durability of mechanical systems. Analyze test results and make necessary design adjustments to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing personnel, to ensure successful integration of mechanical systems into overall product designs.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in mechanical design and development, preferably within a research and development setting. Experience with [specific technologies or industries relevant to the company] is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA), FEA tools, and other mechanical design and simulation tools. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong ability to develop innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with team members and present technical information clearly.
