SUMMARY:
Build, commission and maintain top of the line packaging equipment for one of the industry leaders in packaging solutions.

POSITION INFO:

Machine building (From component level)

Re-Building of packaging machines including fillers, unscramblers etc.

Maintaining and servicing packaging machines for various FMCG clients

Basic understanding of electrical and pneumatic fault-finding

Travel nationally and internationally depending on service requirements

Technically supporting customers, spare part reps, mechanical and electrical design engineers

Ensure safety standards are maintained

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years machine building experience (Building machines from component level, not simply rebuilding)

Experience in commissioning and servicing of machines with extensive moving components

Preferred experience in packaging industry or liquid filling

Ability to work independently

Excellent communication skills

Qualification:

Trade Tested Millwright

Code B Driver’s license – Essential

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
