SUMMARY:
Work closely with machine designers, builders and technicians in compiling operational manuals for a leader in the packaging industry.

POSITION INFO:

Compile packaging machine manuals according to company standards

Compile standard operating procedure manuals

Maintain all technical documents including catalogues and manuals

Capture images and videos of various machines for marketing purposes

High quality photography of machine components and building progression

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technical writer (Preferably in packaging industry)

Experience and knowledge of packaging machines (Preferred)

Computer literate in MS Office suite including MS navivision

Experience in Adobe acrobat, -photoshop, -premier pro and -illustrator

Solidworks and draftsight experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Qualification:

Tertiary qualification in engineering or technical field (Preferred)

National technical certificate or higher

Photography course (Beneficial)

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
