SUMMARY:
International EPC in the oil and gas industry has opportunity for Mechanical Technician on their project in Angola

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Maintenance/Commissioning of Mechanical Equipment
To ensure a high level of Mechanical Equipment availability
To adhere/comply with all Health and Safety (HSE) requirements

Responsibilities:

Carry out planned maintenance as per maintenance program and to client standard
Carry out corrective maintenance as requested by supervisor
Comply with all HSE rules and regulations

Open Permit to Works and carry out associated risk assessment
Provide recommendations to improve maintenance efficiency
Carry out commissioning and minor modification
Provide information on timely basis for inputting into Maintenance Management System
Identify critical spares max/min levels associated with Engineering discipline
Assuring that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required qualities
Assuring the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work
Carrying out construction activities such as fitting and connection of mechanical components and checking the same to approved for construction drawings
Monitoring the issue of materials and the appropriate receiving report for the delivered materials.

Qualification:

City and Guilds (Uk) or recognized Mechanical Trade Qualification
Valid BOSIET offshore survival certificate

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Mechanical maintenance in oil/gas sector working on pumps/compressors etc.
Fluent English(written/spoken
Previous work experience in offshore oil/gas facility
