SUMMARY:
Our Client, a listed Mining Company - progressive and innovative company focuses on metals recovery and processing and owns and operates metals processing facilities both in South African and internationally. The Company has received acclaim for its development of innovative processing solutions in both the pyro-metallurgical and hydro-metallurgical fields specifically targeting the recovery of metals lost through conventional processing techniques Exciting opportunities currently exist at the Operations situated in Brits area for a dynamic and experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineer

POSITION INFO:
To be considered for appointment into this position, the successful candidate must:

Have an Engineering Degree or Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical)
Have a minimum of 3 years'' experience in the Chrome and/or PGM environment
High level of Competence in MS Office (Advanced Excel, Powerpoint and word)
Knowledge and experience of the MHSA would be advantageous

This position reports to the Engineering Manager and the Key Performance Indicators includes

Implementing and coordinating maintenance plans for area of responsibility
Ensure adherence to legislation and policies and procedures
Engaging relevant stakeholders to solve operational and engineering problems
Participate in RCFA investigations to facilitate problem-solving
Identify and drive technical and process improvement
Drive safety, engineering, quality and cost drivers
Implement Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures
Ensure Continuous Improvement through Operational Excellence
