SUMMARY:
The Product Manager is responsible for developing new products and services for customer base and enhances existing products and services, in the medical, health care and wellness domains.

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of a Grade 12 a degree/diploma will be an advantage
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience within Product, Marketing Management, digital health
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the health field
  • An in-depth knowledge and wide experience in Products & Services with a focus on digital health products
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the medical and healthcare environment, marketing and product management expertise.
  • You are a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, building up a network for your business tasks within the company and with external partners.
  • You provide excellent negotiation skills and you are a persuasive character.
  • We expect you to be a hard-working team player, decision making personality who can present and convince.
  • You are a good listener and learner being able to pick up fast on strategies and help to shape and adapt the products and business in line with the companies Vision.
  • Excellent teamwork skills • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Must be able to travel
  • Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap
  • Deliver Market Requirements Documents (MRD) and Product Requirements Documents (PRD) with prioritized features and corresponding justification
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
  • Be an expert with respect to the competition
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
  • Perform product demos to customers
  • Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
  • Deliver a monthly revenue forecast
  • Develop sales tools and collateral
  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success
  • Brief and train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings
  • Brief press and analysts and go on press tours
  • Act as a leader within the company
  • Works hand in hand with the product owner
  • Can assume the role of a Release Manager
  • Responsible for the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas
  • Prioritizing services and features by ranking them against the strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Analyse the target market and direct marketing effort towards identified segment Manage the customer focus group / satisfaction for company Health products Manage end to end relationship with partners – content intake, tool updates, reporting, GTM including in-life product life cycle, promotional coordination
  • Oversee the deployment on B2B channel through distribution partners & B2C channel based on guidelines & consumer behaviour.
  • To keep updated with market trends & consumer behaviour to align accordingly
  • To be well acquainted with industry players and stakeholders
  • Conduct end user testing of delivered features and functionality
  • Prepare product management reports analysing the product performance against targets.
