A busy medical practice based in Ballito is seeking a highly capable and emotionally intelligent Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients.

This role requires a professional, calm, and organized individual who can manage a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in a warm, professional manner
• Manage appointment bookings, rescheduling, and patient queries
• Handle incoming calls and correspondence efficiently
• Coordinate daily practice flow to ensure smooth operations
• Manage patient files, records, and confidentiality
• Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
• Liaise with medical aids and handle basic queries
• Coordinate couriers, deliveries, and stock/orders
• Support the practitioner by managing time effectively

• Previous experience in a medical reception or similar administrative role
• Strong emotional intelligence and excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Professional, reliable, and consistent attendance
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Computer literate (practice management systems advantageous)
