Merchandiser

SUMMARY:
A leading client in the retail sector is looking for a Merchandiser to join their team in Underberg, a small town located in the southern part of KwaZulu-Natal, near the Drakensberg. 
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented individual with a passion for retail and a keen eye for visual merchandising. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are displayed in an attractive and strategic manner to drive sales and enhance the customer shopping experience.

POSITION INFO:
Key Duties:

• Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards across the store
• Ensure products are appropriately stocked, organized, and displayed to attract customers
• Monitor product availability and report low stock or replenishment needs
• Assist with product placement and promotional setups in line with brand guidelines
• Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records
• Collaborate with the Store Manager and Assistant Manager to create in-store promotions and displays
• Keep track of sales trends and customer preferences to inform merchandising decisions
• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times
• Assist with seasonal displays and promotional campaigns
• Provide feedback on stock levels and product performance to the management team.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing merchandising needs and priorities
• Basic understanding of inventory management and stock control
• Ability to lift and move stock as required.
