Metrology Technician

SUMMARY:
We are recruiting on behalf of a high-tech manufacturing company based in Almelo, Netherlands, producing precision mechatronic components for the global semiconductor, medical, and aerospace industries. This is a 5-shift position offering a competitive package including shift allowance, full relocation support, and Dutch language training.

POSITION INFO:
Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate 3D Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to measure complex, high-precision components
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on new and modified products
• Collect, process, and register measurement data in quality systems
• Analyse and interpret measurement results and advise engineers on quality improvements
• Identify deviations and contribute to corrective actions and process improvements
• Ensure full documentation and traceability of all inspection results
• Work in a controlled measurement room and/or cleanroom environment

• Hands-on CMM operating experience (Calypso, Camio, PC-DMIS, Polyworks or similar)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T
• MBO-level qualification or equivalent trade background (toolmaker, fitter & turner advantageous)
• Experience in a precision or high-tech manufacturing environment
• Afrikaans proficiency essential
• Valid passport and willingness to relocate to the Netherlands
