SUMMARY:

A well-known meat factory in Cape Town is looking to appoint an experienced Microbiology (Food) Laboratory Supervisor to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS
·         Grade 12
·         Computer Literate: MS Office
·         Own transport and valid driver’s licence
·         Food technology Degree / National Diploma
DUTIES:
·         Able to perform all microbiological testing when required in the company’s internal laboratory,
·         Sample collection on site within the production facility,
·         Capturing of data/results, trending,
·         Supervision of the overall running of microbiological laboratory (equipment, testing, orders, etc.) And one laboratory technician
·         Liaise with external laboratories (microbiological and Chemical) with regards to testing not done in the company’s internal laboratory.
· Any other related tasks
OTHER: ·         07:00 – 17: 00 Mon to Fri – Must be willing to work overtime if needed.
·         R15 000 pm with provident.
