The Role: Microsoft Power BI Developer & Support
This role exists to create, support, and improve business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Youll be responsible for developing accurate, engaging dashboards and reports, resolving reporting issues, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure data needs are met. You will also work under the guidance of a Senior BI Developer to explore and learn new components of the Microsoft Fabric platform.
Key Responsibilities
- 3+ years experience with Microsoft Power BI
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualisations
- Translate stakeholder reporting needs into technical requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with reports or semantic models
- Apply Power BI and Microsoft Fabric best practices
- Collaborate with the Senior BI Developer on tasks involving Lakehouses, Dataflows, and Data Pipelines
About You
- 3+ years of hands-on Power BI experience
- Strong grasp of data visualisation and report design principles
- Basic understanding of data modelling and data transformation (Power Query M, DAX)
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to learning
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with SQL or other data-related programming languages
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric components (Dataflows, Pipelines, etc.)
- Microsoft certification, such as PL-300
This is a fully remote role aligned to UK business hours, ideal for a candidate with a solid track record in Power BI who is eager to grow into a more advanced BI ecosystem.
