We are seeking a dedicated Microsoft SQL Data Engineer \/ ETL Developer to help our clients harness their data assets effectively. Duties: Plan and analyse complex business requirements to design and implement technology-enabled solutions. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams in analysis, planning, and design activities. Develop, modify, and evaluate high-complexity programs in line with specifications. Conduct quality reviews and walkthroughs of deliverables. Design and develop end-to-end data acquisition processes for data warehouses and data marts. Provide guidance and mentorship in business intelligence systems and ETL processes. Establish and support standards for data acquisition development. Create and execute complex ETL routines ensuring compliance with policies and standards. Requirements: Extensive MS SQL Data Engineering experience. Strong expertise in SSIS and SSRS. Proficiency in requirement analysis and database design. Knowledge of source systems and dimensional data models. Skilled in database and data warehouse modeling. Programming experience in relevant languages for data staging and ETL development. Deep understanding of SQL and ETL tool capabilities. Attention to detail and pride in work. Relevant ETL and BI solution training. A B.Sc. or related degree is advantageous. 2+ years of programming experience. Familiarity with the following: Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Data Engineering What We'll Give You: Competitive salary ranging from R30,000 to R60,000 per month (Cost to Company) – Negotiable.
