SUMMARY:
Our client based in Northern suburbs of Gauteng is looking for a Mid-Level Java Developer - Client is in the Digital/IT Sector

POSITION INFO:
Requirements and Qualifications:

Proficiency in Java language
Experience with back end and front-end development
Experience in web-based languages: JavaScript, CSS, HTML
Experience in API Integrations (REST and SOAP)
Knowledge in authentication methods (Mutual Authentication, JWT, Client ID and Secret, etc.)
Programming with databases: SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL.
Knowledge in Database Modelling.
Professional experience, 4 to 5 years, in Java application programming.
Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Fluency in English, written and spoken (mandatory).

Agile methodologies practices
Customer Orientation and Interpersonal Skills
Transparency and ability to establish trust and supportive relationships.
Strong quality orientation and attention to detail
Ability to organise, estimate, and prioritise project tasks.
Web application development and process design, and project delivery practices
Understanding of solution architecture and design, and web application performance
Main Responsibilities:
Develop solution features following development best practices, ensuring solution performance and user adoption.
Develop external Java services that can integrate with other systems.
Develop integrations with external systems according to the defined architecture guidelines.
Within time be able to act as a multi specialist for various languages wherein Java, the company’s and other low code platforms will be most critical.
Finish all assigned tasks with quality within the defined timebox.
Conduct unit testing and integration testing, executing the necessary bug fixing.
