ENVIRONMENT: PLAY an integral part of a high-performance team as your technical expertise is sought to fill the role of a Mid-Senior DevOps Engineer wanted by a fast-paced Specialist in End-to-end IT Management and Consultative IT Services. You will lead development initiatives including Scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), identify skill gaps, conduct regular assessments of DevOps processes while building solutions and solving problems for clients. The successful incumbent must have Grade 12\/Matric, 4+ years’ experience in IT Infrastructure Management, 3-5 years hands-on experience with Linux Server, Windows Server, Networking, Software Development & Scripting and proficiency with Linux, Ansible, Docker, VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, etc. If you thrive under pressure, embrace self-learning, and are committed to pushing the boundaries of innovation, APPLY NOW!   DUTIES: ·        Ensure seamless client support by meeting or exceeding service-level objectives. ·        Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members, fostering growth and knowledge sharing. ·        Lead development initiatives related to: Ø  New client requirements Ø  System enhancements and process automation Ø  Innovation requests Ø  Scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) ·        Identify skill gaps within the team and coordinate training initiatives to address them. ·        Conduct regular assessments of DevOps processes, implementing improvements where necessary. ·        Deliver structured monthly reports covering team performance, client concerns, and project progress. ·        Ensure adherence to best practices in CI\/CD, infrastructure automation. ·        Build solutions and solve problems for clients.   REQUIREMENTS: ·        Grade 12 \/ Matric Certification. ·        4+ Years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management. ·        3 - 5 Years of hands-on experience with Linux Server, Windows Server, and Networking. ·        3 - 5 years of experience in Software Development and Scripting. ·        1 - 2 Years of experience in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM). ·        Strong understanding of CI\/CD pipelines, Ansible, Docker, and infrastructure automation. ·        Proficiency in scripting and development: NodeJS, Perl, Bash, Python, PHP. ·        Version Control and collaboration: Git, Jira. ·        Configuration management and deployment: Ansible, Terraform. ·        Strong networking knowledge: Cisco (CCNA), MikroTik, Networking+. ·        Experience with SQL\/NoSQL databases and API development (REST, JSON, XML, YAML). ·        Valid Code B driver’s license with own transport.   Desirable – ·        Certifications in Linux (RHCE), Windows (MCSE), Security+, or VMware. ·        Experience in Frontend technologies: VueJS, HTML, CSS. ·        Knowledge of Open-Source technologies and Container Orchestration.   ATTRIBUTES: ·        High degree of aptitude in the IT environment. ·        Entrepreneurial initiative (self-starter). ·        Excellent client relationship building skills. ·        Attention to detail ·        Good report writing skills. ·        Strong team orientation. ·        Passion for technology and continuous learning. ·        Strong presentation and communication skills. ·        Entrepreneurial initiative (self-starter). ·        High level of professionalism and ownership in task execution. ·        Strong influencing skills as well as relationship and network building skills. ·        Team orientated as well as ability to work independently. ·        Able to work under pressure. ·        Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills. ·        Willingness to learn. ·        Show good judgement in all decisions to ensure sustainability. ·        Demonstrates good judgment and decision-making skills.
