SUMMARY:
Manufacturing company situated in Benoni is urgently seeking a trade tested Millwright / Automation & Production Technician position.

POSITION INFO:

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Millwright Trade Test (essential)
National Diploma or Higher in Mechatronics or related field.

5+ years’ in an automated manufacturing environment.
Proven experience with robotic systems, automation controls and production machinery.
Experience with PLC systems (e.g. Siemens) and industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, drives, and conveyors.
Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced, KPI-driven manufacturing environment.

JOB OBJECTIVES:

To ensures optimal uptime, efficiency, and output of automated production lines through proactive maintenance, hands-on technical problem-solving, and daily production oversight. This role combines advanced electromechanical maintenance (Millwright) and robotic systems knowledge (Robomechanics) with practical production leadership responsibilities.
