JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a leading engineering and industrial component supplier, seeks to employ a trade tested Millwright for their branch in Cape Town

Please note that this role is not at a senior level and would ideally suit a candidate who has recently qualified.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.

You will have completed N3 plus a recognized trade test as Millwright, coupled with 1-3 years post trade experience, specifically dealing with industrial gearboxes and electrical motors.
You will have a good balance between electrical and mechanical knowledge and expertise, specifically in terms of fault finding and reading technical drawing to ensure safety disassembly and assembly.
You will be physically fit and able to travel to customer sites if necessary for fault finding and maintenance purposes.
You must have a valid driver’s license, own car, be Covid vaccinated due to dealing with the public and company policy, and have a clear criminal and credit record
