JOB SUMMARY:
Situated at Riverhorse Valley, Durban, with assignments to various plants, the successful encumbent will undertake and be responsible for the electrical / mechanical maintenance on sites as may be directed by the Field Services Manager and as planned in the maintenance schedules.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Duties include :

- All mechanical and electrical maintenance and fabrication work is performed to the required quality standards

- The safe and efficient performance of maintenance and fabrication duties in accodance with prescribed maintenance procedures

- The correct usage and safeguarding of company assets

- Appointed Responsible Person (mechancial & electrical) as required by statutory regulations

- Be available for 24-hor rotational stand-by duties

- Undertake related assignments and maintenance duties that will be assigned by the Maintenance Engineer

Criteria :

- Certified Trade Test as Millwright

- Hold a Wireman''s Licence

- At least have 5 year''s proven experience as a Millwright Artisan

- Medically fit to work on industrial and mining site

- Valid Driver''s Licence

- Be prepared to work shifts, do standby duties, call-outs, and work overtime as per the role requirements

- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

- Computer literate

- Grade 12 / N3 /Equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification (Preferred)
