SUMMARY:
We''re Recruiting a Millwright to maintain, troubleshoot and improve automated manufacturing equipment in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:
Millwright Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production equipment. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults. Maintain and troubleshoot presses, injection moulding machines and automated production equipment. Fault-find on PLC-controlled machinery, drives, motors, sensors and electrical systems. Build, wire, install and commission electrical control panels. Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical schematics. Maintain and repair ultrasonic welding and industrial sewing equipment. Perform equipment upgrades, modifications and continuous improvement projects. Commission new machinery and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Minimise downtime while maintaining quality and production targets. Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12). Qualified Millwright (Red Seal Trade Test). Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Experience with ultrasonic welding equipment. Experience maintaining industrial sewing machines. Proficient in electrical panel building, wiring and commissioning. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Strong fault-finding skills on PLCs, sensors, drives, motors and automated machinery. Experience maintaining presses and injection moulding machinery. Experience within an automotive or high-volume manufacturing environment will be advantageous.
