SUMMARY:
We are recruiting a Trade Tested/Red Seal Millwright (Klipheuwel, Western Cape) with experience in feed milling, agricultural processing, grain handling

POSITION INFO:
Bethlehem, Free State & Klipheuwel, Western Cape Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production and processing equipment. Conduct electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs. Ensure plant equipment operates safely and efficiently. Diagnose breakdowns and implement effective corrective actions. Assist with planned maintenance shutdowns and equipment installations. Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. Complete maintenance reports and related documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant reliability and performance. Minimum Requirements Qualified Red Seal Millwright. Minimum 3 years post-trade experience in a manufacturing or processing environment. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and production equipment. PLC fault-finding experience will be advantageous. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Valid drivers licence. Machine knowledge: Hammer Mills Roller Mills Pellet Mills Conveyor Belts Batch mixers Core Millwright Tooling & Skills Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems Electrical & Control Systems Preferred Experience Animal feed manufacturing. Feed milling operations. Grain handling and processing. Agricultural processing facilities. Skills and Competencies Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent fault-finding skills. Attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork skills. Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
