Millwright -Manufacturing Sector-Killarney Gardens Are you an experienced Millwright looking to join a dynamic, high-volume production environment? We are seeking a skilled, quality-driven Trade Tested Millwright to drive equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and keep our production lines running at peak performance. What We're Looking For Certification: Red Seal \/ Recognized Trade Test as a qualified Millwright. Experience: 3 to 5 years of post-trade experience within a fast-paced manufacturing plant. Machinery Knowledge: Hands-on experience with injection moulding, extrusion machinery, or high-volume production equipment is highly preferred. Technical Mastery: Strong dual-trade mechanical and electrical fault-finding capabilities. Core Skills: Proficiency in basic welding, fitting, turning, and reading technical schematics. Mindset: A proactive problem-solver who thrives under pressure, works safely, and pays attention to the details. What You'll Do Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair both mechanical and electrical components on core production machinery. Execute preventative and planned maintenance schedules to prevent costly operational breakdowns. Respond rapidly to emergency machine breakdowns to keep production targets on track. Perform electrical fault-finding on motors, sensors, switches, and control systems. Handle mechanical fitting, basic welding, fabrication, assembly, and alignment work (gearboxes, pumps, bearings). Assist with the setup, changeover, installation, and commissioning of manufacturing machinery. Read and interpret complex technical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals. Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout\/Tagout) procedures.
