Mine Overseer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry, has an EE opportunity available for a Mine Overseer. This position will be based in the Rustenburg area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Hold a relevant/ valid Mine Overseer Certificate of Competency (Metalliferous mines) and currently carry a legal appointment as a mine overseer
• Be in possession of a medical fitness certificate to work in the mining industry or be able to pass the company’s entry medical examination and a Baseline Audiogram result
• Be in possession of a valid driver’s license
• Relevant experience in a Production Mine Overseer role
• Post-graduate qualification In Business Management
• Sound knowledge of trackless underground environment
• Proven knowledge of runnlng a productlon section
• Exceptional safety record
• Above average production performance record

KPAs:

• Effective operation of the operational section to the agreed business plan
• Manage the operation of section
• Investigating incidents/accidents and property damage
• Maintaining sound industrial relations
• Maintaining good employee relations
• Liaise with departments
