SUMMARY:
A mining company is looking for a Mine Overseer to join their team in Limpopo. The team will be working both Opencast and underground.

Position: Mine Overseer

A mining company is looking for a Mine Overseer to join their team in Limpopo

The team will be working both Opencast and underground

Responsibilities:

• Manage and carry out tactical strategies on a day-to-day basis that ensure that departments KPI’s are met
• Implements operational projects, ensures operating compliance, develops and implements engineering standard operating procedures (SOP) in appointed area of responsibility
• Safe production – Support departments to achieve set targets by coordinating planning within appointed area of responsibility
• SHE – Ensure best in class safety performance and continuous improvement of key safety metrics to maintain required RCR
• Recruitment training coaching and career development

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or N3 or NCV level 4 with maths and science
• Certificate in Blasting, Gas testing, Competent A
• Valid red ticket (or ability to obtain one)
• Mine overseer Certificate of competence for Fiery mines
• Minimum of 5 years total relevant mining experience / Production / Production services experience in the mining industry
