Mine Overseer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Mining Industry has an opportunity available for a Mine Overseer in the Thabazimbi, Limpopo area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Mine Overseer Certificate of Competency
• Valid Metalliferous Blasting Certificate for scheduled mines
• A proven record as an appointed Mine Overseer with at least 8 years experience in deep level convention-al underground mining
• Experience in Hydropower mining would be advantageous
• Computer literate for role (MS Office)
• Experience in SAP would be advantageous

KPAs:

• Manage and maintain Health and Safety systems and ensure operational compliance in accordance with the MHSA as well as On Mine Standard Procedures and Codes of Practice
• Effective management of budgets related to mate-rial and stores
• Managing and Optimizing allocated human capital and other resources
• Set priorities, manage and coordinate operational activities to ensure achievement of required pro-duction targets in stoping and / or development sections
