SUMMARY:
Carletonville based Mining Company is seeking a GCC Mines, Mine Services Engineer that carries a 2.13.1 Legal appointment and that has experience of both underground and surface operations. Please note that experience in vertical shafts and winders is essential.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS

Degree / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Government Certificate of Competency for Mine and Works
5-10 years’ experience of underground and surface operations within the Gold and Platinum mining industry with specific reference to:

o            Vertical shafts
o            Winders
o            Electrical distribution networks
o            Pumping and water distribution networks
o            Roads and infrastructure
o            Property maintenance

Sound experience and knowledge of preventative maintenance principles
Project Management experience
Must be able to obtain a Certificate of Fitness
Preference will be given to HDSA candidates, but all candidates will be considered, as long as they comply with the experience requirement.
Package offered will be market-related and will depend on the experience and skill of the particular candidate who is chosen.
