Miner III: Saudi Arabia, Al Amar

SUMMARY:
A well-organized mining company in Saudi Arabia in the middle East is urgently seeking to appoint a Miner III in their Company

POSITION INFO:

The successful incumbent will be responsible for operating in a high paced production environment. Perform duties assigned to him in the following regard, mine services installation, charging operations, mucking operations in a safe manner. This includes the operation of diesel-powered scoop tram equipment, dump trucks and utility vehicles.

Desired Experience and qualifications:

• Completion of intermediate (9 years) education
• Must have a minimum of 3 years underground mining experience in a trackless environment.
• Must have safety background.
• Certification for grader (Cat Alstrom) will be an added advantage.

Technical Competencies / Professional Expertise

• Driver’s License
• Proficiency in English is Essential
• Be able to operate or be certified in underground dump truck operation (Cat AD30)
• Be able to operate or be certified in underground loader operation (St 1030 scoop tram, Cat R1600H)
• Be able to operate or be certified in underground utility vehicle (Normet 6305X) operation.
• Time management skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance to Client Health and Safety responsibilities
• Identify hazards and risks while performing daily tasks and maintaining the daily production plan.
• Do FLRA’s and pre work inspections and assessments.
• Comply to legislative and operational requirements.
• Adhere to the company’s environmental management program and procedures.
• Assisting in the charging up of production areas
• Be able to install mining services safely and efficiently.
• Ensure adherence to production quality standards in housekeeping, reporting, safety, outputs and environmental conditions.
• Participate in cost saving initiatives and adhere to financial procedures.
• Customers and stakeholders:
• Communicate with supervisors as to the status ow work and the safety thereof.
• Communicate to the maintenance department of any breakdowns or maintenance issues on the equipment he is operating.
