Mining Engineer

SUMMARY:
Our client has an EE opportunity available for a Mining Engineer in the Postmasburg area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• GCC Mine Manager Certificate
• B Tech Degree in Mining Engineering
• 2 years supervisory experience
• 6 years mine engineering and related operations experience
• Valid code B driving license
• Should have opencast experience if possible Iron Ore Mining specific experience

KPAs:

• Interpret mining operational plan and production results
• Analyse production asset performance trends against required objectives, implement corrective actions where needed
• Internal and external stakeholder relations
• Participate in and contribute to the workforce planning process
• Promote statutory compliance
