Mining Engineer

SUMMARY:
Our client in the mining industry has an opportunity available for a Mining Engineer, to be based in Phalaborwa, Limpopo.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Degree or National Diploma in Mining Engineering
• 3-5 years'' experience in an Open-Pit Mining environment
• GEMCOM/SURPAC software knowledge
• MineSched software knowledge
• Open Cast Mining
• Modular mining dispatch

KPAs:

• Short to medium term mine planning
• Apply information to the WHITTLE software package to obtain pit shells
• Use optimal pit shells to do optimal pit design
• Determine budgetary requirements regarding drilling, blasting and fuel consumption
